The inscription on the stone reads:
To the memory of JAMES WILLIAMSON Farmer, East Pitdoulsie, Parish of Turriff who died 10 October 1829 aged 48. Also of his son ALEXANDER* Farmer Inschbrook died there 14 May 1860 aged 31. Also wife ISOBEL PITTENDREIGH died at Pitdoulsie 1 May 1871 aged 85. Also their grandson GEORGE WILLIAMSON died Mains of Towie 3 March 1891 aged 25. And his son JAMES died at East Pitdoulsie 26 September 1913 aged 64
The inscription on the Pittendrich stone in Monquhitter cemetery, Cumminestown reads:

Erected by WILLIAM PITTENDRICH Farmer in ORDLAY in memory of beloved spouse ELIZABETH PRATT died 4 July 1811 aged 34. His father JAMES PITTENDRICH who died 2 August 1813 aged 66. Mother SARAH GRIEVE who died 24 October 1788 aged 32. His sister MARGARET died 28 April 1794 aged 3. His brother JAMES died 26 October 1801 aged 3. WILLIAM PITTENDRICH Farmer mains of Frendraugh, Forgue died 21 March 1856 aged 72 MARGARET PITTENDRICH born 16 October 1795 - died 2 October 1864 Aberdeen. |
